Boo in the Zoo

I absolutely love Halloween! Grandpa Bob and Grandma Jeannie treated Wes and myself to Boo in the Zoo at the Oakland Zoo. They had a costume parade for the kiddies, decorated the whole zoo in a Halloween theme and had a scavenger hunt! It was so much fun. Wes and I both dressed as giraffes and Grandma Jeannie dressed as a kitty while Grandpa Bob claimed to be wearing a scary shirt. I love costumes. We saw everything there, some parents even went all out as pirates and witches. I feel that Wes was definitely the cutest baby there. Everyone stopped to talk to him and point out how adorable he is. I am not biased or exaggerating at all :) We will be doing this again next year.

Wesley is 6 Months Old Already!

How did our little guy get so big already? At his six month check up, Wes weighed in at 17 pounds 11.5 ounces, measures 27 1/2 inches and the doctor said that he is growing right on schedule. He is the average height and weight for his age. Good Job Wesley!

The doctor gave us the green light to start feeding him more foods. Some people felt we should have started sooner but we wanted to wait for our doctor. This is his first taste of peaches!

Possible New House

After looking at many, many houses we finally found one that we both liked that fit all my criteria. It's near parks, shopping, good schools and most importantly, neighbors who decorate their houses for Halloween. If all goes well, we are set to close on the 28th...
