Happy 4th of July!

Wesley celebrated his 1st 4th of July with his very FIRST swimming experience and fireworks! He loved doing both! Wesley and I met Bob and Jeannie at the Marriott across from Great America and got into their pool to cool off before the fireworks. All of the other babies were crying while Wesley floated calmly. He even started splashing around! Later, we went up to the hotel balcony where Wes was transfixed on the fireworks. His little eyes followed them all around the sky. Apollo does not share Wesley's enthusiasm about fireworks. He likes to hide in the bathtub when we have fireworks. Later on Monday night we discovered Apollo standing in my closet with his head buried under my shoes. Wesley also showed off his patriotic side with his new flag outfit and hat. I think he looks quite dashing...
